 Travel through Indiana, Illinois, and into Missouri, with an overnight stop in Columbia. The adventure continues as we travel through Missouri to Hayes, Kansas for our second overnight. 

After traveling across the Great Plains, we arrive in Colorado Springs, where we will check in to the hotel before our dinner at the Flying W Ranch Chuckwagon Dinner and Western Show.

Today we will travel to the Garden of the Gods, and then the Great Sand Dunes National Park before we travel over Wolf Creek Pass to Durango where we will overnight.

Today will visit Mesa Verde National Park before continuing to Moab, Utah where we will enjoy a Jet Boat Ride and dinner along the banks of the Colorado River.

After breakfast, we will tour Arches National Park before retuning to Moab for lunch. Next we will tour Canyonlands National Park, then we have dinner in the area. 

Depart Moab and arrive at Capitol Reef National Park for a tour before heading down Scenic Highway 12 over Boulder Mountain for a visit to Anasazi State Park. After our tour we will travel to Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument with it’s with vast expanses of cream and rose colored Navajo sandstone.

Next we travel to Bryce Canyon National Park for sightseeing. The next day we return to Bryce Canyon National Park for a morning view. Then take a scenic drive through Red Canyon State Park on your way to see Utah’s oldest and most famous national park, Zion National Park. Explore East Zion and pass through the amazing Mt. Carmel Highway Tunnel which provides a stunning entrance to Zion Canyon.

We will reboard your motorcoach and depart Zion for a drive across the Mojave Desert to the “Entertainment Capitol of the World,” Las Vegas for an overnight. After a leisurely morning, travel to Hoover Dam for touring. Enjoy a guided tour of the Power Plant and take in a view of Lake Mead and visit Boulder Dam Bridge for a short hike onto the bridge for wonderful views of Hoover Dam and the canyon below. Return to Las Vegas with the rest of the day free to explore.

Depart Las Vegas and travel across the desert entering Arizona with a rest stop in Kingman with some Route 66 history. Then turn east following Route 66 on your way to Grand Canyon National Park for an afternoon of touring.

Enjoy a few scenic stops on the bus, then use the park shuttle system to visit other sights on the South Rim. In the late afternoon, depart Grand Canyon and travel to Flagstaff for an overnight.

Depart Flagstaff and continue your travel eastward along Route 66 on your way to Petrified Forest National Park for touring and then enter the “Land of Enchantment,” New Mexico. Arrive at Acoma Pueblo Sky City with some time to learn about the history and culture of this tribe at the Haaku Museum and we will tour an ancient pueblo. This evening, arrive in Albuquerque and check in for overnight.

This morning, enjoy touring in Albuquerque starting with visiting the Indian Pueblo Culture Center for an introduction to the wonderful cultures of the pueblo tribes of New Mexico. Next, visit historic Old Town with free time to explore and grab lunch.

Continue your journey along the Old Road with a few Route 66 stops along the way including the famous Cadillac Ranch. Arrive in Amarillo and check into your hotel. This evening, prepare for a wonderful Texas experience as you visit Palo Duro Canyon State Park for a delicious Texas BBQ Dinner followed by ‘Texas’ Outdoor Musical.

Depart towards Joplin, Missouri as we travel through the Texas panhandle and into Oklahoma before arriving in Joplin. Today we visit Precious Moments Chapel and Gardens as we continue our journey home. Our last overnight will be in St. Louis before we continue home the next morning with a late evening arrival.
