Hawaiian Islands!
Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Hawaii
August 9 - 22, 2017

Day 1 - We will depart by motorcoach and travel to Port Columbus Airport for our flight to Oahu, Hawaii. Upon arrival in Honolulu, we will be greeted by our representative with a warm, Aloha welcome and a beautiful flower lei. The evening can be spent sipping a refreshing coconut drink or just enjoying the atmosphere of the island.

Day 2 - Awake to a Guest Welcome before departing on our tour of the island. We will first visit Pearl Harbor where we take a Navy launch out to the USS Arizona Memorial. You will have time to explore the visitor center and view the exhibits in the museums before we head off to see the sights of Honolulu. We will visit Punchbowl Crater and the National Cemetery of the Pacific before continuing on to downtown Honolulu. Here you will see the State Capitol and Iolani Palace.

Day 3 - Enjoy another day in paradise. You are just a few minutes walk from the famous Waikiki Beach and the shopping on Kalakaua Avenue. There are many things to enjoy on the island before we depart.

Day 4 - Enjoy the day to take a stroll on the beach, snorkel, or just do some shopping. Consider visiting the Hawaii Army Museum that tells the military story of Hawaii or an evening luau and watch the sunset.

Day 5 - This morning we fly to the island of Kauai for a three day stay. This tropical island paradise is known as the "Garden Isle" because of its daily rainbows, lush forests, majestic mountains and emerald valleys. Upon arrival, we visit the magnificent Opaekaa Falls before heading to the Wailua River Marina. We will take a leisurely boat cruise along the beautiful Wailua River to the tropical and romantic Fern Grotto.

Day 6 - Awake to a Hawaiian sunrise and another day in a tropical oasis. It's no wonder that an impressive list of Hollywood productions have used this Emerald Island as a setting. Kauai is the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands and it is here that you will find tropical rainforests, forking rivers and cascading waterfalls.

Day 7 - Another day of leisure or fun in the sun. If ever there is a place to have an experience of a lifetime it's here on Kauai! There are many options on the island, maybe a helicopter ride, or a day on the beach.

Day 8 - This morning we fly to the island of Maui for a two day stay. We will visit the stunning Iao Valley and stop at the Iao Needle Lookout Trail, a paved loop trail through an ethnobotanical garden. You will also get the opportunity to explore the small town of Lahaina, the picturesque old whaling capital of the Pacific, which looks much today as it did at the turn of the century.

Day 9 - Today you will have an opportunity to see the sights or you own or just relax on the beach. Kaanapali is one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii.

Day 10 - This morning we fly to Hilo on the Island of Hawaii (the Big Island) for a three day stay. Today we travel across the island on a full day tour from Hilo en route to Kona. First, we make two short stops at a Macadamia nut factory and an orchid nursery, both important exports from Hawaii. Then we head off for one of the main highlights of the whole tour. Ascend the rugged countryside to Volcanoes National Park to see a real, smoking and steaming volcano as you look across the Kilauea Caldera. We also visit the Jaggar Museum and visitor center to learn all about the geology and history of the volcano. Next you will visit Thurston's Lava Tube. We then depart to Punaluu Black Sand Volcanic Beach and on to Kona.

Day 11 - Spend the day taking in the island or relaxing on the beach. You can take a stroll along the bay to explore the quaint waterfront old town of Kona.

Day 12 - This being our last full day be sure to indulge on a cup of Kona coffee and savor the tranquility around you. Enjoy the hotel amenities and relaxed pace of this town on your last day.

Day 13 - This morning we depart Kona for our journey home. Sit back, relax and think of all the tranquil moments you have just experienced. Aloha!
